Al Golden Globe, "Tre manifesti a Ebbing". Missouri è tra i più premiati

Nella notte a Los Angeles si è svolta la 75^ edizione dei Golden Globe. Quella di quest’anno, è stata un’edizione tutta al femminile.
Le più grandi stelle di Hollywood si sono riunite al Beverly Hilton Hotel per la serata, presentata da Seth Meyers, durante la quale sono stati assegnati i premi della Hollywood Foreign Press Association (la stampa estera).
Il film Tre manifesti a Ebbing (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) ha dominato la serata con il premio come miglior film, miglior attrice a Frances McDormand (bravissima) e miglior attore non protagonista a Sam Rockwell. Il film esce da noi l’11 gennaio.
Il premio per la miglior regia è andato a Guillermo del Toro per La forma dell’acqua – The Shape of Water. Già Leone d’oro a Venezia il film sarà nelle sale italiane dal 15 febbraio. Tutti e due i film premiati sono “passati” nella 72.ma Mostra di Venezia. Miglior film d’animazione è stato eletto Coco (Disney/Pixar) che ha battuto, tra gli altri,Loving Vincent.
Oprah Winfrey è stata premiata con il premio Cecil B. DeMille (un Golden Globe alla carriera).
L’Italia aveva cinque candidature -di cui tre per l’attesissimo film di Luca Guadagnino Chiamami col tuo nome e due per The Young Pope di Sorrentino- ma non ha portato a casa nulla (è pericoloso, insistere su certi nomi, anche se famosi e supportati da un certo giro…)
Gary Oldman ha vinto il premio come miglior attore in un film drammatico per L’Ora più buia e si avvicina sempre di più all’Oscar. Il premio come migliore attore in un film commedia o musicale è andato invece a James Franco per il suo The disaster artist.
Sterling K. Brown di This Is Us vince come miglior attore in una serie drammatica e fa la storia: è il primo attore di colore a essere premiato in questa categoria.
